Burning Foot Pain
Burning, tingling or numbness in the feet is your nervous system telling you something. It is worth listening to early.

What Burning Feet Usually Means
Burning in the feet is a nerve symptom. It can come from peripheral neuropathy, diabetes, circulation problems, nerve compression higher up in the spine, nutritional deficiency or medication side effects. The symptom looks similar in every case, which is exactly why guessing at treatment does not work.
Symptoms People Describe
- Burning along the arch or ball of the foot, often worse at night
- Pins and needles or electric shock sensations
- Numbness that makes the floor feel distant
- Sensitivity where light touch or bedsheets feel painful
- Balance problems or hesitancy on stairs
Finding The Cause First
Every patient gets a thorough evaluation before any treatment plan is built. History, symptom pattern, progression and goals all matter, because two people with identical burning may need completely different care.
Do Not Wait This One Out
Nerve symptoms rarely resolve on their own, and early intervention genuinely changes outcomes. If sensation in your feet has been changing, get it evaluated.

“I came to Apple Wellness Center with severe lower back and hip pain. It would take the better part of half the day to get my back loose enough to be able to bend over or squat down. After meeting with Dr. Pasternack and his staff they recommended a program of cold laser therapy, deep tissue massage, and chiropractic adjustments. Within the first 4 weeks of the program I can say I am back to 90% of myself. Don't live with the pain any longer.”
Burning Foot Pain FAQs
Why is it worse at night?
Fewer distractions and changes in circulation and position when lying down both make nerve symptoms more noticeable at night. It is a very common pattern.
Is burning foot pain always diabetes?
No. Diabetes is a frequent cause but far from the only one. Spinal nerve compression, circulation, nutritional deficiency and medication effects all produce similar symptoms.
